PUERTO PRINCESA CITY, Nov. 18 (PNA) - The Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park (PPSRNP) at Sitio Sabang, Barangay Cabayugan is keeping a tight hold of the No. 1 spot in the search for the New 7 Wonders of Nature for nine consecutive weeks now since September 22.

Following it at No. 2 is Vietnam's Ha Long Bay and Bangladesh's Cox's Beach Bazar at the No. 3 position.

PUERTO PRINCESA CITY, Nov. 14 (PNA) - The highly urbanized Puerto Princesa City is fast becoming a tourism and convention center for the country’s medical practitioners.

On November 18 to 20, the city is hosting the 45th National Annual Convention and Scientific Seminar of the Department of Health National Association of Dentists (DHNAD) here.

PUERTO PRINCESA CITY, Nov. 12 (PNA) -- The schedule of the cycling
competition dubbed as "2009 Puerto Princesa Mountain Bike XC
Challenge" has moved from January 16-18, 2009 to January 29- 31, 2009.

This has been informed by Joey M. Mirasol, the event's race director,
explaining that in order to accommodate mountain bike cyclists from
Cebu and other provinces in Visayas participating in the celebration
of the Sinulog and Ati-Atihan Festivals this coming January.

CORON, Palawan Oct. 28 (PNA) -- Mayor Edward Hagedorn has expressed his readiness to go full blast with their tourism promotion with the completion of some major tourism facilities that will accommodate overwhelming influx of tourists in the city.

"We are now ready for massive tourism promotion with these massive construction of hotels, Sabang road near completion and ongoing expansion and rehabilitation of our airport," he said in an interview by PNA.
