New water technologies showcased in Puerto Princesa PDF Print E-mail

PUERTO PRINCESA - A total of 34 local and foreign-owned companies are showcasing their latest water supply and wastewater technologies during the 15th International Conference on Water and Resources Management, also known as PhilWater 2007 being held at the Asturias Hotel, this city from October 2 to 5.

This was according to Engr. Orlando Hondrade, administrator of the Local Water Utilities Administration (LWUA) and concurrent president of the organizing Philippine Water Works Association (PWWA).

Exhibitors iclude AVK Philippines; Bently Systems Phils; Cosine Industries; Danfoss; Digital Data Corp; East West Bank; Houston Hydrotech Products and Systems; Industrial Design and Equipment Expertise; JM Benton Industries; KSB Amri (Asia Pacific);

Liberty Export Import Corp; Makati Foundry; Manila Water Company and Maynilad Water Services; Mechanical Handling Equipment/Prosoft Technology/Rockwell Automation/Zenner; MIG Systems; Neltex Development; PDR Techonology (Asia); Pansun Plastics Unlimited/Medwest Tehnical Institute; Phil Resins Industries; Ridge Tool (Ridgid)/Yale Hardware; Techno-Trade Resources (Davao); Tozen Phils; Trigon Management and Industrial; U1MIG Enterprise, Unifield; Universal Aquarius, Uniwell Technologies and West Point Industrial.

In addition, four foreign were set to conduct product presentation during the exhibition.

They are Houston Hydotech; Jhaymarts Industries; Pacific Data Resources-Data and PDR Technology (Asia) Philippines.

The holding of PhilWater 2007 conference and exhibition is supported by the Puerto Princesa Water District and city government under Mayor Edward Hagedorn. (PNA)
