Puerto Princesa to host 3-in-1 Bird Photography Workshop in celebration of 4th Tandikan Festival

PUERTO PRINCESA CITY, Sept. 3 (PNA) - For the love of wild birds of the Philippines and in celebration of the 4th Tandikan Festival of this Highly-Urbanized City, the Wild Bird Photographers of the Philippines (WBPP) is hosting here the 3-in-1 Bird Photography Workshop for four days.

Slated on September 27-30, the workshop will be done at the Irawan Eco-Park near the watershed area. The WBPP will conduct a bird photography workshop; conduct the 1st Palawan Bird Photomarathon at Sitio Sabang, Barangay Cabayugan; and the Palawan Instructional Bird Photography Tour, said Rommel Cruz of the Palawan Ornithological Society.

The workshop intends to share knowledge on how to photograph and record Philippine birds, especially those found in Puerto Princesa, to inspire their conservation and preserve their territories.

Expert WBPP bird photographers Rey Sta. Ana and Alain Pascua will lead the workshop which is sponsored by Canon, Columbia Sportswear, Robinsons Place-Palawan, Lotus Garden, Irawan Eco-Park, and the Department of Tourism of the City of Puerto Princesa. (PNA)
